You’re probably here because you have questions about yoga or are curious about me as a yoga teacher, and interested to know what and where I teach.
My journey with yoga began as a result of a personal quest to regain balance, health, and peace after a series of family losses, and career stress. I found yoga (reminds me of the Chinese proverb, “When the student is ready, the teacher arrives.”) a few years after I’d been diagnosed with osteoporosis, and at significantly negative levels at that. I made the personal choice not to take the recommended meds and instead explore natural ways to heal this degenerative condition. Along the way, I learned that osteoporosis can be healed through yoga. By the way, I did not inherit my osteo; I earned it (more about that through my Bone Health workshops).
Seriously, not taking care of oneself has serious consequences. Seriously. (Yes, it bears repeating.)
